Private Sessions

Private training sessions are available to help owners work with their dogs to resolve training or behavioural issues:

One-to-one training sessions are for dogs and owners who need additional help with training either with specialist training needs or for concentrating on one or two particular problems, either in the home or "on location". Examples of the types of training problems which respond well to one to one sessions include poor recall (running off on walks, or not coming back when called), jumping up, boisterousness, chasing other animals, barking etc. Helen also offers new puppy "start right" sessions to help owners of new puppies to avoid problems later in life by ensuring the right start for their new pup.Training sessions can be arranged by a simple telephone call and appointment and do not require any involvement of your vet.

Behavioural consultations address more serious problems such as aggression towards people or other dogs, fears and phobias, such as fear of fireworks and other loud noises, serious house-training problems and separation anxiety. Behavioural consultations require veterinary referral (via a simple form) and the price of the consultation includes a detailed Behaviour Modification Plan.

All training - regardless of the problem - is reward-based and no harsh techniques are used.

..Helping your best friend to be even better..
