Helen Taylor CCAB

Helen Taylor is
a full-time professional behaviourist based in North Dorset. She
specialises in dog behavioural problems and see clients throughout
most of Dorset, and parts of South Somerset, South Wiltshire and
West Hampshire since 2004.
Helen has an honours
degree in Zoology from the University of Southampton (1989). She
also has an Advanced Diploma in Canine Behavioural Management (ADipCBM).
She is a full member of The Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors,
is a Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist and a Registered
Practitional (Clinical Animal Behaviourist) with the Animal Behaviour
and Training Council. She is also a member of the Association of
Pet Dog Trainers (No 881).
Helen uses force-free,
positive, reward-based dog training methods to help dog-owners with
training and behavioural problems using kind and effective ways
to improve behaviour and solve problems. She is recommended by and
takes referrals from all the major veterinary practices locally
and many from further afield. Helen is also available to give talks
to primary school children on safe behaviour round dogs, and conducts
fostering and adoption assessments for local authorities and private
adoption agencies. Helen lives in Sturminster Newton with 8 year-old
Dobermann, Tia and 10 year-old collie cross, Miczka.
